How Much Does Interior Demolition Cost in Calgary?
Stripping out a kitchen, a bathroom, or a whole floor before a renovation? There is no single price, because it depends on the scope. What you are removing sets it, and we roll that into one flat, all-in quote with no hidden fees.

Why the Price Depends on the Job
Taking out a single non-structural wall is a small job; gutting a kitchen, a bathroom, or a whole floor down to the studs is a much bigger one. Rather than quote a made-up number that would not hold, we look at what your tear-out actually involves and give you a single, flat price up front. These are the things that move that number.
What drives the cost
Four Things That Shape Your Price
The scope and size
A single non-structural wall is a quick job. A full room, a kitchen, a bathroom, or a whole floor stripped to the studs is a bigger one, the more area involved, the more labour it takes.
What is being removed
Walls, flooring, ceilings, cabinets, tile, and finishes all come out at different speeds. Stubborn materials like old tile, plaster, or glued-down flooring take more effort than plain drywall.
Kitchens and bathrooms
These take more than a plain room: cabinets, fixtures, and plumbing mean sinks, toilets, tubs, and lines have to be disconnected and removed carefully before the space comes apart.
Debris volume and access
Everything torn out has to be hauled, so more material means more disposal. Stairs, tight access, and protecting the rooms and finishes you are keeping factor in too.
How we price it
One Flat All-In Quote, Debris Included
Demolition gets a single, flat, all-in quote rather than a by-the-load rate, so you know the full cost before any work begins. Send a few photos and a description of what you want removed, and we can quote most interior tear-outs without an on-site visit.
What the quote includes
- Tearing out the walls, flooring, fixtures, and finishes in scope
- Protecting the rooms and surfaces you are keeping, and keeping the dust down
- Hauling all the debris away in the same visit
- Leaving a clean, renovation-ready space
- Responsible disposal and recycling, confirmed and approved before we begin
For how we price every job, see our pricing page. For the services themselves, see interior demolition, kitchen demolition, and bathroom demolition.

Common questions
Interior Demolition Cost Questions
How much does interior demolition cost in Calgary?
There is no single price, because it depends on the scope: one wall versus a full kitchen or a whole floor, what is being removed, whether plumbing and fixtures are involved, and how much debris there is. We give one flat, all-in quote from a few photos and a description of the scope, so you know the full cost before we start.
Do you remove the debris too, or just demolish?
Both. We demolish and haul all the debris away in the same visit, and leave a clean, renovation-ready space. The disposal is included in your flat quote, no separate haul-away to arrange.
Is a kitchen or bathroom demo more than a plain room?
Usually, yes. Kitchens and bathrooms have cabinets, fixtures, and plumbing that have to be disconnected and removed carefully, which adds work compared with taking out a non-structural wall or lifting flooring.
Do you only do non-structural demolition?
We handle non-structural interior demolition, walls, flooring, ceilings, fixtures, and finishes, without disturbing what holds the space up. If a wall is load-bearing, that is a job for a structural professional, and we will tell you.
