Every load is sorted with the same order of priority.
Donate What We Can
Usable furniture, household goods, and building materials are set aside for donation where we can, so they get a second life instead of being dumped.
Recycle the Rest
Metal, appliances, and electronics are sorted and routed for recycling rather than going to the landfill.
Landfill as a Last Resort
Only what genuinely cannot be reused or recycled goes to the landfill, and we work to keep that portion as small as we can.

What Happens to Each Type of Item
Furniture & Household Goods
Pieces in usable shape are set aside for donation where we can; the rest is disposed of responsibly.
Appliances & Metal
Old appliances and household metal are sorted and sent for recycling, not the landfill.
Electronics & E-Waste
TVs, computers, and electronics are routed to be recycled responsibly.
Renovation & Construction Debris
We separate wood, metal, and recyclable materials for recycling where a facility accepts them.
Yard Waste & Clean Wood
Branches, yard debris, and clean wood are diverted for recycling or reuse where we can.
General Household Junk
Every load is sorted first, so anything reusable or recyclable is pulled out before the rest is disposed of.
How it works
How We Sort a Load
- We sort as we go.Items are separated on site into donate, recycle, and dispose.
- We set aside donations.Usable goods and materials are kept back for donation where we can.
- We route recyclables.Metal, appliances, and electronics go for recycling.
- We dispose of the rest.Only what is left over goes to the landfill.
Our promise
Honest About What We Divert
We recycle and donate wherever it is practical, but we will not overstate it. We do not claim to divert everything, and we will never tell you an item was recycled when it was not. Our aim is simple and honest: keep as much as we reasonably can out of the landfill, on every job.
